Service for material testing tools

Everything is possible: We offer you the entire range of services, on the phone, at our production facility or at your premises – according to your wishes and technical capabilities.

Repair and maintenance of defective clamping tools

Our employees will be happy to come to you and repair your defective tool directly on site if it is technically possible. Otherwise, you can remove the tool from the machine yourself or our experts can do it for you. We will then repair it at DEMGEN.

If possible, we can offer you a loan tool in this service case so that you can avoid production downtimes.

We are also happy to advise and support you in all areas of maintenance. Especially for machines in continuous operation, regular maintenance, e.g. of sealing and guide elements, can reduce the probability of failure. In the case of hydraulic hose connections, replacement is required by law every five years.

If you have problems operating your tool or identify a need to optimize your testing processes, we will support you by phone or on site.

But our service goes one step further: if you are dissatisfied with the service life of your worn clamping jaw, for example, we can provide you with more than just a new one. We analyze your operating conditions in detail to determine the optimum new clamping jaw for you. This will enable you to achieve a longer service life and more reliable test results in the future, thereby saving costs.

Focus: Spare part clamping jaw

The use of the right material in conjunction with the right heat treatment and the right choice of toothing or surface finish and coating is extremely important, especially for clamping jaws.

We therefore offer you a very comprehensive selection in this area:

  • different toothing sizes
  • different jaw geometries, e.g. for flat or round samples
  • various toothing types, e.g. normal, concentric, pyramidal and many more.
